Yesterday I sent an email to WordPress Support about a minor bug that I found. After a fairly standard response to force a refresh and clear my cache and cookies, I replied again with some screenshots. I then got another email thanking me, telling me he would make a developer aware of it. Thanks Doug!

The bug occurrs in the Categories section when you are creating a new post. If you click on “All Categories” followed by “+ Add New Category” and then proceed to add a category with a Parent Category chosen, all the items that were previously in the list below are added to it again, making it about twice as long as it was previously (plus the one extra item).

I think I have found another bug related to the same section; if you edit a post that has a Category assigned, and this Category has a Parent Category, clicking on “All Categories” on the edit page does not show it’s assined Category in the tree view below it’s Parent Category. Sorry to be annoying, Doug!
